Approximately 25,000 households in south-east Queensland woke up lacking electricity on Monday's dawn after powerful weather events impacted the state, bringing wind gusts hitting over 100 km/h.
Large Frozen Precipitation and Broad Impact
Homeowners reported large ice chunks as large as seven centimeters in particular locations. The Bureau of Meteorology confirmed that different parts across Queensland had been affected by substantial ice precipitation.
